The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is set to unveil four new programmes next academic year as the University expands its academic offerings to meet the ever-evolving demands of the modern world.
Vice Chancellor of UPSA, Professor Abednego Amartey, announced this at the 15th Congregation Ceremony, which witnessed the graduation of some 4,986 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The new programmes, which are currently at different stages of the accreditation process, include a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Communication, a Master of Philosophy in Marketing, and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management.
They will provide students with an array of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Prof Amartey disclosed that the new programmes have been carefully designed to align with industry trends and market demands while further diversifying UPSA’s academic portfolio.
He expressed his excitement about the programmes and articulated the university’s commitment to providing cutting-edge education and addressing the evolving needs of students.
“Our commitment to educational excellence and relevance drives us to constantly adapt to the changing needs of our students and industry,” Prof. Amartey said.
“These programmes are a testament to our dedication to providing world-class education that equips graduates with the skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields.”
The latest additions to UPSA’s academic offerings demonstrate its dedication to being at the forefront of education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the demands of the modern job market.
Early in the year, the UPSA introduced six other programmes, namely PhD in International Security and Intelligence, PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies, Master of Arts in Media and Digital Communication Management, Master of Philosophy in Media and Digital Communication Management, Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Transport Management, and Master of Arts in Digital and Strategic Marketing.
