The Ministry of Health has released a press statement to inform the public especially parents and guardians that, it has not opened admission into the various nursing and midwifery colleges in the country as circulating on the various media platforms.
In a statement issued on April 6,2021, and signed by Kwabena Boadu, the chief Director of the Ministry of Health, it noted that, its outfit shall notify the Ghanaian populace as and when it opens admission for applicants seeking to enroll in their schools.
He added that, when admission is open, applicants will be required to buy a voucher from networking banks in order to obtain their pin and serial number to apply online. He further stated the admission process into the various nursing and midwifery schools will always be fair and transparent and also, successful applicants will attend an interview at the school of their choice.
Parents, guardians and students are urged to take note of this public release and be weary of persons who will try to extort money from them in the name of securing admission for their wards.
