The National Teaching Council (NTC) has launched a transformative initiative in line with section 83 of Act 1023, initiating a comprehensive inspection that spans selected schools across 18 districts and municipalities in the Eastern, Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Northern Regions.

Exploring Educational Frontiers

In the Eastern Region, the inspection team is gearing up to visit eight districts and municipalities, delving into educational hubs such as New Juaben North and South, Yilo Krobo, Akyemansa, Abuakwa South, Kwahu West, Akuapem North, and Birim Central. This strategic approach ensures a nuanced understanding of the educational landscape in diverse communities.

November to December: The Window of Educational Scrutiny

From November to December, the NTC’s dedicated inspection endeavors to uphold educational standards and pave the way for excellence. This period marks a crucial juncture in assessing and fortifying the educational framework across these regions.

A letter issued by Prince Agyemang-Duah, the Acting Director of the Schools and Instructions Directorate, elucidates the primary focus of the inspection. The teams will scrutinize teachers’ licenses and evaluate adherence to the National Teachers Standard, ensuring a meticulous review of educational practices.
