Reverend Father Barthazzar Obeng Larbi, the man of God in the centre of St. Monica’s College of Education kissing incident which happened in the course of this week, has rendered an apology to all affected persons his in actions might have caused.
In a circular released by the Anglican Priest, he expressed his sincere apology to the Archbishop, the entire Anglican communion, affected students and their parents together with all affected Ghanaians who have been affected in any way by his wrongful conduct.
Explaining further, the dismissed college chaplain said that he did not think through his behaviour carefully thus, has admitted that the act and its setting was wrong even in the absence of Covid-19. In addition, Father Larbi admitted that he had taken several things for granted.
However, he is pleading on all Ghanaians to forgive him and hold him in their prayers as he goes through these trying times.
The Anglican Priest, Father B. Obeng has come under attack by social media users for kissing three female students one after the other on the pulpit during a church service gathering on Sunday 15th August 2021. Social media was set ablaze after the video went viral. Many well-meaning Ghanaians including men of God have since condemned the act by the man of God.
