How to Check SIMs Linked to Ghana Card

The National Communication Authority (NCA) launched a short code to be used to check the number of SIMs linked to your Ghana card.

The short code will from today be active so that subscribers will be able to identify number (s) linked to their Ghana card.

This comes at the back of complaints received by the NCA from a section of the public relating to their unknown numbers linked to their Ghana card.

How to Check Number of Sims Linked to Ghana card

1. Dial *402*1#
2. Select option 1 (check sims)
3. Enter your Ghana card number. Type the full code starting from GHA-xxxxxxxxx-x ( Don’t add the hiphen (-)
4. Enter your date of birth in this format (DDMMYY) eg 22041980.
5. The number of SIMs linked to your Ghana card will be sent via SMS to you.
6. Visit the office of your network in case there are unknown number (s) linked to your Ghana card. They will be delinked.

This code will be active from May 1,2023. Kindly note that due to the high volume of subscribers from all the telecommunication companies, you may face some system errors as it is being rolled out today.
