GES Releases Academic Calendar For Double And Single Track Students In First Year

The Ghana Education Service has released the academic calendar for fresh students in the various senior high schools across the country. These are fresh students who completed Junior high school in 2020 and reported on 18th March 2021 at their various technical, vocational and secondary schools in the country.

According to a press statement issued on Thursday, 18th March 2021 and signed by the head of public relations, Madam Cassandra Twum Ampofo, it indicated that, the academic calendar is planned for both single and double track students. In addition, students in double track schools will be informed of their track as and when as they report to school.
The statement further noted that, not all the senior high schools in the country are currently running the double track system. In spite of that, double track schools will soon be updated onto the GES website.

The first year double track schools will run on the following timeliness

First Semester

Green Track: 18th March to 25th June 2021
Gold Track: 18th March to 28th May 2021

Second Semester

Green Track: 1st September to 18th December 2021

Gold Track: 30th June to 18th December 2021

First Semester

18th March to 25th June 2021

Second Semester

1st September to 18th December 2021
