Fix The Country demonstration was carried out yesterday on the various social media platforms by social media users and influencers in the country.
The silent protest was massively participated by many Ghanaians across the length and breath of the country.The virtual protest was an alternative of the proposed protest march on some important streets in Accra meant to be executed by the conveners and interested Ghanaians on Sunday, May 9,2021, but due to the Police restriction order obtained from the High Court, it did not see the light of the day.
However, the order did not prevent the group to shift their attention to using the various social media platforms to make their concerns known to the government of Ghana. Several people wrote on placards from the comfort of their homes and workplaces and shared on their timeliness with the hashtag #WeAreAngry.
The hashtag was trending on social media especially Twitter with so many pictures and placards with sentimental inscriptions written vividly and boldly on it. Check Some pictures below.
