Accra, Ghana – 16th September 2024 – Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, delivered an inspiring speech at Educata 24 as the Guest Speaker. The event, which attracted educators and stakeholders from across the country, was themed, “Hands-on Learning for Career and Business Success,” and highlighted the importance of practical education in the development of Ghana’s youth.
In his address, Dr. Adutwum emphasized the need to move beyond traditional classroom education and adopt a skills-based approach. “Education is not confined to classrooms or textbooks; it’s about equipping our young people with practical, real-world skills they need to thrive in today’s fast-paced world,” he stated. He expressed his full commitment to making this hands-on approach a cornerstone of Ghana’s educational system.
The Minister lauded the passion and dedication of the educators and partners who are working toward the holistic development of the nation’s youth. He expressed gratitude to all contributors for their role in shaping a stronger and more innovative future for Ghana. “Together, we will continue to pave the way for success and empower our youth to lead the way,” Dr. Adutwum concluded.
