Distribution of One Teacher, One Laptop To Primary Teachers Hits Ashanti Region

Reports gathered by Bricy Boateng from a close source has disclosed that there is currently the ongoing distribution of Teacher’s Mate 1 laptops to primary school Teachers.

On Monday, February 20, 2023, it was reported that the laptops packed in school buses arrived in the Ashanti region for onward distribution to school teachers who were deducted from the Controller and Accountant General Department (CAGD).

So far, teachers in the Asante Akim Central Municipality have gathered in the education office to collect their long-awaited laptops after a year and three months since it commenced.

The requirement for collection is a print out of November 2021 payslip, generated code from KA Technologies and a valid national identity card.

It is uncertain whether the distribution is ongoing in other districts in the Ashanti region and the entire country at large. Bricy Boateng will keep you updated on further developments.
