Recently, a video of a defective laptop customized for teachers went viral on social media platforms. The TM 1 laptop display was going on and off which suggests that it’s developed a fault. Should the owner of the laptop decide to return the laptop, he/she must meet the underlined criteria.
The following are the circumstances for which a buyer of any electronic gadget of KA Technologies can return his/her electronic devise in case of any defects.
Any unopened product still in factory-sealed packaging may be refunded or exchanged within Two (2) weeks or fourteen (14) days of original purchase date. Original receipts are required and refunds will be given based on original payment method used at purchase.
Cash RefundsOpened products must be exchanged or returned for store credit with a 20% restocking fee. All opened products must be in like-new condition and with all packing materials and original receipts. No refunds or exchanges will be given after Fourteen (14) days of purchase.
Any preowned devices may be refunded or exchanged within fourteen (14) days of original purchase date. Devices that contain customer information or have been set-up will incur a 20% restocking fee. Original receipts are required and refunds will be given based on payment method.
Defective devices/items may be returned for same-product exchange, or store credit. All defective items must be tested and verified before we are able to offer exchange or store credit.
Products not eligible for refund, return or exchange include opened software, products that have been tampered with, damage caused deliberately or out of negligence, opened printers, special orders, gift certificates and products not accompanied with original receipts and or packaging.
6. Cash Refunds
No in-store cash refunds will be made to customers. KAT will refund cash purchases by cheque either directly issued to customer or mailed to customer within 7 to 10 business days.
* The original sales receipt must accompany all returns.
* Please save all packaging until you determine that your product is working correctly.
* Defective products should be returned as quickly as possible (preferably within one week) for a full refund. Please inspect your product(s) upon receipt and report defects to a KAT sales outlet immediately.
* Some products are not eligible for return. Please discuss with our sales staff prior to your purchase if you have any questions.
* No refunds or exchanges after 30 days from the date of sale.
*All return side of this return policy will be charged a 25% restocking fees
