The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation GNPC Foundation is currently accepting applications for Postgraduate (Masters and PhD programmes) and Undergraduate Local scholarships for the 2024/2025 Academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must be Ghanaian nationals and have obtained admission to pursue a postgraduate or undergraduate degree programme at an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana. However, Nursing Training Colleges and Colleges of Education are not eligible. Teachers and lecturers in STEM and TVET at technical institutions are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must provide a scanned copy of their admission letter along with other required documents.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (Postgraduate)
For postgraduate applicants, the following documents are required: – Scanned copy of First-degree Certificate. – Scanned copy of transcript. – Copy of Curriculum Vitae. – Scanned copy of other degree certificate (PhD only). – Passport picture. – Scanned copy of National Service Certificate. – Scanned copy of letters of recommendation (Academic and Occupational) on letterhead.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (Undergraduate)
For undergraduate applicants, the following documents are required: – Scanned copy of WAEC results or Certificate. – Passport picture. – Scanned copy of Testimonial from previous school.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
All applicants, both undergraduate and postgraduate, must provide: – Scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Copy of bio-data page / National I.D. Card). – Follow, like, and comment on GNPC Foundation accounts on all social media platforms. – Submit applications online through the official website (www.gnpcghana.com). – Continuing students should upload their academic transcripts. – Previous undergraduate certificate (degree, HND, Diploma) and corresponding transcript for applicants pursuing another undergraduate Programme. – Applicants with any form of disability must upload a medical certificate stating the level of seriousness of the disability. – Applicants who currently enjoy any form of educational scholarship should not apply. – Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
IMPORTANT DATES/DEADLINES
The portal for both postgraduates and undergraduates will be open from 7th May to 31st May 2024. It’s crucial to provide accurate information, as misrepresentation renders the application null and void. Any award made based on misrepresentation will be withdrawn, and applicants may face prosecution or be required to refund any monies paid to them.
